The Phoenix Library has been unveiled at partner school Ark Kings Academy in Kings Norton, benefitting both pupils and colleagues.

The Group has been partnered with Ark Kings Academy since 2016, and through our Reading Partner volunteering scheme has been working with pupils to help raise literacy levels.  The Group has been a signatory to the Vision for Literacy Business Pledge since 2017.  A framework designed to aid companies to take action to help raise literacy levels and boost social mobility.

The new school library was named after the Group, celebrating achievements to date and marking the continued support that will be available.

The launch was attended by Andy Moss, Phoenix Life CEO and Group Director - Heritage Business, and a few of our reading partners. Also present was Roger Punton, Principal from Ark Kings Academy and the pupils who have been directly involved with the Reading Partner scheme.
