Tax strategy

The Phoenix Group Board are responsible for ensuring the tax obligations of the Group are understood, complied with and managed appropriately. It is our duty as a market leader to lead by example by managing our taxes in a sustainable, responsible and transparent manner.

Our tax strategy has three focus areas:

Paying our tax in accordance with our legal obligations
Promoting an open, transparent and collaborative relationship with tax authorities in the jurisdictions where we operate
Managing our risks in accordance with the Risk Management Framework
