Phoenix Group: where great people do great work

We’re here to help secure a life of possibilities for everyone – including our colleagues.

That’s why we’ve built a supportive working environment where colleagues can not only thrive professionally, but also have genuine positive impact.

Living our purpose

We've built a supportive working environment, where colleagues can not only thrive professionally, but also have a positive impact.

We’re investing in a sustainable future

As the UK’s largest long-term savings and retirement business, we’re able to help tackle society’s biggest challenges - from influencing investments that impact climate change to narrowing the pension savings gap.

We ask our colleagues to bring their passion and commitment. In return, they get the opportunity to make a difference to the causes they care about most.

Colleagues like Sindhu, who is passionate about integrating sustainability into investment processes to help protect the planet we all share.

We look after each other

Giving back is part of our culture, and by fundraising, volunteering and sharing knowledge, we can help more people enjoy a life of possibilities.

In 2023 we created the Phoenix Heroes programme celebrating colleagues who make a positive and lasting difference in their community.

Colleagues like Lucy (and Milo), who use our flexible working and volunteer leave to provide support to children with special emotional needs.

We're supporting working carers

We've launched Caring for Carers to help millions of people who work and care for someone to better balance some of the challenges they might face, be they personal, financial, professional or emotional.

To help our colleagues achieve balance we offer paid and unpaid carers leave, flexible working and access to KareHeroes for specialist support.

We also run a Carers Network where colleagues with caring responsibilities are able to discuss problems, support each other and show solidarity for the role they are in.

Supporting our colleagues

We’re serious about providing a diverse and inclusive workplace, where everyone can achieve their full potential.

From flexible working policies, to lifelong learning, to a wide range of wellbeing resources – we’re committed to supporting colleagues’ health and happiness for the long term.
