Experience:

Andy joined Phoenix Group in July 2020 with over 30 years of life insurance and pensions experience. He has held senior executive roles across the industry including as Managing Director Corporate for Aviva UK Insurance Limited and UK CEO of Friends Life Group Limited.

Andy leads Phoenix Group’s Saving and Retirement business which includes Standard Life, Sun Life, and the European business Standard Life International. Additionally, Andy is responsible for Phoenix Group’s European Operations.

Role and responsibilities:

• Leads the development and delivery of the Savings and Retirement business strategy.
• Enables better outcomes for customers.
• Redeploys excess capital at attractive rates to generate future predictable cash flows and offset the legacy business run-off.
